MoTID STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOP

National Handling Services (NHS) is honoured to be participating in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development (MoTID)’s Strategic Planning Workshop taking place at Holiday Inn, Bulawayo, from 17–21 November 2025.

NHS is contributing to this important national process alongside key sector stakeholders as the Ministry reviews progress under NDS1 and prepares for the transition into NDS2. The workshop’s opening remarks were given by Eng. J. P. Makumbe, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development.

The workshop aims to:

1. Assess progress made under NDS1

2. Identify implementation gaps

3. Reprioritise resources for greater impact

4. Evaluate institutional preparedness for NDS2

5. Strengthen a results-oriented performance culture as the nation transitions into NDS2

The NHS delegation is being led by Board Chairperson Advocate Godwin Nyengedza, Vice Board Chairperson Mrs. T. Muwani, Board Members, Acting CEO Mr. Phillip Ramabakudzibwa, and senior management representatives.
