AVIATION GROUND HANDLING TRAINEES ENROLMENT
Minimum requirements for entry are as follows:
- Aircraft Handlers Trainees (Victoria Falls, Harare, Bulawayo)
- Applicants should be between 18 years and 25 years.
- Possess at least 5 O’ levels including English and Maths
- Should Be able speak, read and write English.
- GSE Equipment Operation Trainees (Victoria Falls, Harare, Bulawayo)
- Applicants should be between 18 years and 30 years
- Possess at least 5 O’ levels including Maths and English.
- Valid class 2 Driver’s License, Class 1 will be an added advantage
- Valid Medical and Defensive certificates are an added advantage.
- Minimum Driving experience of 2 years

DIRECTOR OPERATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICES
- Provides leadership of ground handling operations countrywide in accordance with regulatory requirements , organization standards and local procedures as well as the requirements of the customer airlines.
- Develops and implements comprehensive ground handling operations strategies, budgets and operational plans to achieve the company’s goals and objectives that are constantly monitored, evaluated and controlled;.
- Develops and implements policies, systems, programs and procedures in support of the company’s goals and objectives, compliance with applicable regulations and standards/ best industry practice, and customers’ requirements.
- Monitors and evaluates operational performance against established targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, airlines, and service providers.
- Identifies and implements innovative technologies and processes to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Provides input in the preparation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the customers and ensures that the service delivery is as documented in the SLAs.
- Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service experiences, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Advises the Board on strategic ground handling issues and implements appropriate changes in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensures that Risk Management process is applied throughout the National Handling Services ground operations network.
- Oversees the maintenance of equipment ensuring availability and serviceability of all Ground Support Equipment
- Ensures a healthy, safe and secure working environment in conjunction with relevant legislative/industry requirements and customer requirements
- Ensures all Ground Services non-compliances are closed within stipulated time frame through identification the root cause.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related qualification.
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Diploma in Aviation/ Station Management or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Master’s Degree is an advantage,
- 5 years relevant experience managing aviation ground handling operations
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and management of workshops is a requirement

GSE Operator X 2 (Bulawayo)
- Operates Ground Support Equipment in accordance with laid regulations.
- Sorts cargo according to bays in the warehouse.
- Checks cargo baggage for damages and prepares reports accordingly.
- Tows baggage to and from aircraft.
- Conducts aircraft push back and towing, flight dispatch using headset, aircraft chocking, ground power and air start operation as required.
- Drives staff bus.
- Operates cargo equipment (forklifts, trolleys).
- Prepares bingo sheets and other documents for baggage and cargo as required.
- Cleans equipment, offices, cargo warehouse and aircraft.
- Conducts toilet servicing of aircraft.
- 5 O levels
- Must be a holder of a valid class 1 Driver’s License,

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
- Provide management and oversight of the Dry Port’s financial operations, including operations and maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, invoices and inventory controls.
- Preparation of financial reports, including periodic management accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure strict internal control, governance, financial data is accurate and all transactions in line with IFRS.
- Compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Perform analyses and strategic planning r future Port investments.
- Tax management of the Dry Port’s tax related matters.
- Coordination of internal and external audits annually.
- Make recommendations to the General Manager on programmes to improve operations.
- Carry out human resources planning, performance evaluation and maintaining a conducive company culture.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasting processes, revenue projections and account analyses.
- Plan and direct the operations of the Dry Port including loading and offloading trucks, railway wagons, stuffing and stripping of containers, container logistics control and stacking.
- Execute other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or a closely related field.
- Designation from a recognized professional body SAIBA/NIPA/SAIPA is a must have.
- A holder of a valid driver’s license.
- At least 3 years operations, finance and management related experience in a managerial position.
- Strong IFRS experience and knowledge of industry related legislation.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.

Accounting Assistant C2 (Harare)
- Compiles weekly and monthly flight statistics.
- Prepares IATA & Non-IATA Airline Invoices through SIS System and captures them into SAP.
- Submit General Settlement Declaration Forms (GSDs) for all Foreign Receipts to the bank.
- Posts all Cash receipts from a cash summary, ICH Form 3 form and other deposits.
- Posts all Inventory Count Sheets
- Reconciles commercial and airline receivables.
- Reconciles staff receivables against payroll deductions.
- Produces and dispatches monthly receivables statements and attends to issues raised by debtors.
- Files documents
- Any other duties as delegated.
- Five O Levels including English and Mathematics
- Diploma in accounting
- Part CIMA, ACCA, CIS etc
- At least 2 years’ experience
- SAP experience an added advantage
